NFL Opening Line Report For Week Four
Week four in the NFL is here and some teams are starting to struggle to get their first win. Before placing any of your football wagers it is important to research the NFL opening line report from BetDSI and observe movement and public consensus.
Here is a look at some of the opening NFL lines for week four along with movement and public consensus.
The Buffalo Bills shocked the world by defeating the New England Patriots. The Bills are now 3-0 and proved that they are one of the best teams in the league. They opened up as three point road favorites against the Cincinnati Bengals and as could be expected, the public opened by putting some early wagers on the Bills. This line could jump the key number if the money continues to come in on the road team.
Houston (-3.5) Over Pittsburgh
The Houston Texans played tight on the road with the New Orleans Saints and they seem as though they can compete for a super bowl. Pittsburgh struggled on the offensive line and barely slipped by the lowly Colts. Perhaps that is the reason that the Texans opened up as four point favorites. The public have always backed the Steelers and early betting action came in to lower the line to 3.5.
Baltimore (-4.5) Over New York Jets
The New York Jets traveled to the west coast and were soundly beaten by the Oakland Raiders. Now they head back to the east coast and opened as 4.5 point underdogs at many offshore sportsbooks. The Ravens are a good team off a blowout victory, but the money came in on the Jets. The line has since moved to -3.5 as many people believe that this will be a close, hard-fought game.
Patriots (-4.5) over Oakland
The Patriots are off a tough loss to the Bills, in a game where Tom Brady put up four interceptions. Now the team will have to fly west to take on the Oakland Raiders, who are fresh off the victory against the Jets. This has not gone unnoticed. The line opened up at six points and has since been bet down to 4.5 points. The Patriots have always been a public team and this could easily be bet back up to six points before kickoff.
