In week five of the college football season, the Super Six split the uprights with a 3-3 week.. The overall record on the season is now 11-12-1. This week the Super Six is poised for a breakout week with an outstanding schedule of big games.
Each week I will release my Super Six for the weekend in college football. It will highlight six games on the college football schedule that are worth betting on with an explanation that features the latest odds and sports betting trends. The Super Six is brought to you by BetDSI this week, a leader in online sportsbook betting!
Here is the Super Six in week six:
California at Oregon
Thursday night football is a Pac-12 affair as Cal tries to upset the mighty ducks. The Golden Bears are 24 point underdogs in this prime time game that they are expected to get torn up in this spot. The Ducks are the better team, but the Bears play well in this spot. The Golden Bears are 20-6-1 ATS in their last 27 games as an underdog of 10.5 or greater and are worth a play with the points.
Boise State at Fresno State
The Boise State Broncos realize that they have to win and win big if they are going to stay in the top of the college football rankings. A year ago this would be a letdown spot for the Broncos, but after dropping a winnable game to Nevada last year, they won’t look past anyone. The Broncos are 16-5 ATS in their last 21 games as a road favorite and cover this number on Friday night football.
Boise State -20
Oklahoma at Texas
The Oklahoma Sooners and Texas Longhorns meet in the Red River Rivalry. Sooners QB Landry Jones is an excellent passer, but he has a tendency to throw interceptions on the road. This is a huge game for Texas as they will get a chance to show the fans they can play with the big boys. The Sooners are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 neutral site games as a favorite of 3.5-10.0 and could get upset in this big game. Take the points as this game stays close.
Auburn vs. Arkansas
The Razorbacks host the Auburn Tigers and will try to be geared up to play after an emotional come from behind win against the Texas A&M Aggies. Tyler Wilson is becoming a star at quarterback and has found a connection with wide receiver Jariius Wright. Auburn’s defense is a weak spot and they won’t have a chance in this game. The Razorbacks are 14-5 ATS in their last 19 games following a win and cover this number.
Texas Tech vs. Texas A&M
The Texas A&M Aggies blew their second lead in as many weeks and the defense has to be playing with a shattered confidence. Enter the high-octane Red Raider offense and that equals trouble. The Aggies are 1-5 ATS in their last six road games against a team with a winning home record and will struggle in this game. The betting public is all over the Aggies and that is a sinking ship right now.
Texas Tech +8
Missouri vs. Kansas State
K State has become an upset champion this year and they are cashing big for underdog bettors that have backed the Wildcats. That didn’t stop oddsmakers from making the Missouri Tigers three point favorites. The key in this game is that the Tigers are coming in fresh and ready to go. The Tigers will win and cover the small number in this game finally taking down the underdog.
