College Football Opening Line Report For Week 7
The college football season is in full-swing and the good teams are starting to separate from the pack. With a multiple number of teams that could possibly be undefeated this season every game counts. The new BCS Standings are out and the football odds for this week are out.
Here are the odds with some line movement for this week in college football.
San Diego State vs. Air Force
Thursday night college football is offering two games this week and one of the games will feature San Diego State vs. Air Force. The line has opened at 6.5, but has been moved down to 6 points in several places. This could be due to the national television beat down that the Air Force received from Notre Dame.
USC vs. California
The second game on Thursday night football is another Pac-12, and marks the return of the Golden bears to the ESPN spotlight. Although USC is under probation they are still getting plenty of attention from public bettors. As of now, over 70% of the early money is coming in on the Trojans and the line opened at USC -4.
Hawaii vs. San Jose State
The Friday night college football game provides a very exciting matchup between Hawaii and San Jose State. Many of bettors don’t know much about these teams but it won’t stop them from betting on them. The line opened at Hawaii -6 and with 70% of the money backing Hawaii, the line has been pushed to 6.5
Michigan at Michigan State
The Wolverines head to the road to take on the Spartans and have yet to lose a game on the season. This will be the first true test to determine if Michigan is back and ready to compete with the best teams in the country. The Spartans opened up as three point favorites in this game. The line has not moved, but over 70% of the public is on the Wolverines, so this line could dip below the key number before kickoff.
If you want to win when you bet on college football it is important to watch the early line move and the trends that are moving the line. That extra edge could be the difference between winning and losing.
