NFL Lock Of the Week – NFL Week 7
The Miami Dolphins are one of the top teams mentioned in the “Suck For Luck” bowl. That of course is the team that is most likely to land first round draft pick Andrew Luck, the talented quarterback out of Stanford.
This is mainly because the Dolphins have yet to win a game yet and they are currently off a very embarrassing loss on national television. This team is in disarray and has problems in all areas and is being led by a lame duck coach. Yet with all of that being said, they are going to win this week and they are the lock of the week.
This week the Dolphins face the Denver Broncos. The Denver Broncos are not the worst team in the league, but they are not that far off. They are making a change at quarterback that is getting a lot of attention.
They have benched Kyle Orton and now Tim Tebow will be the starter for this game. The Denver Broncos let the fans pick their starting quarterback and that is never the right way to go.
The Broncos are 15-33 ATS in their last 48 games following a loss against the spread, 18-37-2 ATS in their last 57 vs. AFC, and 16-33-3 ATS vs. a team with a losing record. Those type of numbers cannot be ignored.
The public will jump on the Tim Tebow bandwagon, but the smart bettors should jump on the Miami Dolphins and drop the three points as they win this game with ease.
