The Giants get a super upset against the Patriots
NFL upsets are not always easy to find and the schedule in week nine has some games that could go either way. So how does the football betting fan find the upset? There are several steps that the can be used to pick that game every week in the NFL.
First take a look at the odds and fade the public and line movement. The Giants head to play the Patriots and opened up as nine point dogs. They are now ten point favorites with the public on the New England Patriots. The first step for finding an upset is looking at lines and then moving on to step two.
The second step will be looking at matchup’s. The Patriots have had a weakness that has been exposed over the last few years. It’s pressuring Tom Brady and controlling the clock. Last week the Pittsburgh Steelers applied pressure to Brady and then controlled the ball on offense limiting his chances to put up points.
The Giants have an impressive pass rush and will be able to put pressure on the passing game of the Patriots. On offense the Giants can run and or pass and should be able to control the clock setting up a big shot for an upset. One of the bigger mismatches in this game is the tall wide outs of the Giants against the smaller secondary of New England.
The final step in predictions of major upsets is just having the guts to take a chance. Upsets happen all the time and betting on the money line is a good one to build bankrolls very quickly. This week the upset of the week is the New York Gants to snap the home winning streak of Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.
