College Football Week 11 Opening Odds Report
College football Opening Line Report
The college football world is still excited over the result of last week and the big game between LSU and Alabama. In week 11 the drama should continue as there are plenty of good games to choose from and some changes to make some serious money.
With games starting on Tuesday and going throughout the week, it is important to get an early look at the lines and moves in college football.
Miami (OH) vs. Temple
The midweek game on Wednesday is a MAC battle as the Miami Ohio Redhawks battle the Temple Owls. The Owls are a better team and armed with a suffocating defense, they opened up as 11.5 point favorites. That line quickly jumped to 12.5 with 65% of the public action.
Virginia Tech vs. Georgia Tech
The Thursday night ESPN college football game is an intriguing ACC matchup that has already caused a line jump. The Hokies of Virginia Tech opened up as 1.5 point road favorites but that numbers changed dramatically and now Georgia Tech is a one point favorite with 60% of the betting public betting on the bugs.
Nebraska vs. Penn State
The Nebraska Cornhuskers opened up as 2.5 point favorites as they head to Happy Valley to take on the Penn State Nittany Lions on senior day. This is normally a reason to back the home team, but with recent allegations off –the field the public has hoped on Nebraska and this line is now at -3 at most places and could easily jump the key number.
This is just a quick look at some of the best games of the week, but before placing a bet on any game it’s best to look at the latest line and the movement to find value.
