College Football Week 11 Picks – Super Six
The Super Six is off one of its best weeks of the year and is only getting better as the season goes along.
Last week the Super Six in college football finished at 5-1 for the second week in a row. Now the overall record for the year is at 30-23-1. The Super Six is dominating and banging the books, now on to this week.
Each week I will release my Super Six for the weekend in college football. It will highlight six games on the college football schedule that are worth betting on with an explanation that features the latest odds and sports betting trends.
Here is the Super Six in week eleven:
Nebraska vs. Penn State
What a mess in Penn State. Joe Paterno is caught up in the middle of a controversy and has officially resigned. Despite what the people think, his players back him up in this contest and they will be inspired on senior day. The Cornhuskers are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games overall and lose in Happy Valley in Joe Pa’s last home game.
Penn State +3
Stanford vs. Oregon
In the potentially last hurdle to a national championship, the Stanford Cardinal goes up against the Oregon Ducks. Andrew Luck realizes that his legacy could be cemented with a win in this game. The Ducks are back in the national picture after an opening loss to LSU. The Cardinal are 21-6-1 ATS in their last 28 games overall and 21-7-1 ATS in their last 29 conference games. This game is too important to lose and Stanford will win and cover.
Georgia vs. Auburn
This is a must-win game for Georgia after they saw South Carolina lose to the Arkansas Razorbacks a week ago. Now the door is wide open to the SEC east and the championship game. Going against an Auburn team that has struggled on defense will help. The Tigers are 1-7 ATS in their last 8 games after allowing more than 200 yards rushing in their previous game and with that kind of defensive play, Georgia will win easily.
NC State vs. Boston College
The Boston College Eagles have been the doormat of the ACC and they continue to fail on the football field. They recently were embarrassed on national television against Florida State and because of that the Wolfpack are three point road favorites. NC State should not be a road favorite against anyone and the Eagles win at home.
Boston College +3
Oklahoma State vs. Texas Tech
The Oklahoma State Cowboys are making a run for the national title and need to remain undefeated to get a look. They will come close to losing this week against the Red Raiders of Texas Tech. Since beating Oklahoma, the Red Raiders have fallen flat, but this is a perfect spot to get up for a big win against a top ranked team to salvage their season. Texas Tech could win this outright so the points are a gift.
Texas Tech +17
UCLA vs. Utah
This line is baffling. The Utah Utes may regret going to the Pac-12 as they have struggled getting conference wins. While UCLS is beatable, they are on a roll and have beaten two teams in a row as underdogs. Going on the road to a cold climate, may not be exciting, but overall they can keep this game close. The Utes should be 2 point favorites in this game, not seven points.
This feature will be delivered here at Bangthebook.com all year long. Come back every week for the most current Super Six.
