NFL Upset of the Week – Week 10
Every week any team can win in the NFL and that is how the term “Any given Sunday” came about. This week this stands very true as the NFL schedule is filled with potential underdogs that can pull off the upset and the outright win. In week ten in the NFL, the upset of the week is the winless Indianapolis Colts.
The Colts are having a very difficult season. It was announced that before the season all pro quarterback Peyton Manning would not play for the majority of the season and the fans knew it was going to be a very tough year, but it is unlikely that they thought it would be that tough of a year. The Colts have not won a game yet and under this week with a 0-9 record, so it’s hard to back this team. However hosting the Jaguars is a good chance for this team to get the first win and put the talk of drafting quarterback Andrew Luck on the back burner for at least one more week.
The Colts have several sports betting systems that favor them in this game. Play on any team that lost its last game by 20 or more points at home (103-76-2, 57.5% ATS since 2002) indicating that due to a very ugly game the last time out, the Colts should come back with some pride and get a big win. Play on any home underdog that lost outright as a home underdog the previous week (51-33-2, 60.7% ATS since 2002) is yet another system that favors the Colts.
The Colts are 13-3-1 ATS in their last 17 games as an underdog of 0.5-3.0 and the Jaguars are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games as a road favorite. The end result will be a big win by the home team in the upset of the week.
