NFL Lock of the Week – Week 11
The lock of the week in the NFL is the best bet on the board out of all the games that anyone can bet on. These are not always easy to find and often are elusive to the recreational sports bettor. This is why that the word “lock” is taboo in sports betting circles, since most “locks” are hard to find.
This week that lock is in the AFC North in the conference battle between the Baltimore Ravens and the Cincinnati Bengals. The Baltimore Ravens head home to host the surprising Cincinnati Bengals, after a humiliating loss to the lowly Seattle Seahawks. This should make for a very angry Ravens team.
The Bengals have been a great team early in the season and in a close loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers they showed the world they are ready to play toe-to-toe with the top teams in the AFC. However the big news is that the Bengals lost cornerback Leon Hall to a season-ending neck injury.
This will cause a severe problem in the secondary for the Bengals and cause a mismatch for the Bengals. Wide receiver Anquain Boldin has too much size and should have a field day this Sunday.
The Ravens are 11-3 ATS in their last 14 games after accumulating less than 90 yards rushing in their previous game, 5-1 ATS against a team with a winning record, and 48-23-1 ATS in their last 72 games as a home favorite.
The Bengals are 3-7-1 ATS in their last 11 games in Week 11 and 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games in November.
The Bengals are running into the Ravens at the wrong time and the result will be a big win for the home team. The lock for this week in the NFL is the Baltimore Ravens minus the points.
