College Football Upset of the Week – Week 13
College Football upsets happen all the time and with the holidays around the corner, rivalry games take center stage. This is one of the most enticing environments for an upset. In week 13 the college football upset is most likely to happen in an upset and that game is featured below.
The Georgia Bulldogs and the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets may not play in the same conference, but they have quite the rivalry. Both of these teams go all out to get the victory when they meet on the field.
The opening college football odds listed the Bulldogs as six point favorites. The line has dropped due to smart money coming in on the Yellow Jackets. While 70% of the public is on the Bulldogs, there is reason to believe they get upset this week.
The Bulldogs are 4-9 ATS against a team with a winning record and 5-16 ATS in their last 21 games after scoring less than 20 points in their previous game. The underdog is 3-1-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings and the Yellow Jackets are 5-2 ATS in their last seven against the SEC and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 non-conference games.
The Bulldogs will be less than focused for this game as they are already a cinch to play in the SEC Championship game and represent the east. The Yellow Jackets on the other hand need this win and will get the Bulldogs without enough time for their defense to prepare for the triple option.
The college football upset of the week is the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets +6
