College Football Week 13 Picks – Super Six

College Football Super Six

The Super Six split down the middle last week to finish at .500, but should get off to a strong start during the holidays.

Last week the Super Six in college football finished at 3-3. Now the overall record for the year is at 35-30-1.

Each week I will release my Super Six for the weekend in college football. It will highlight six games on the college football schedule that are worth betting on with an explanation that features the latest odds and sports betting trends.

Here is the Super Six in week 13:

LSU vs. Arkansas

There may not be a bigger game in college football this week as this game will send ripples throughout the SEC. The line opened at 14, which seemed a tad high considering the success of Bobby Petrino’s offenses against Les Miles defenses in the past. The Razorbacks are 16-6 ATS in their last 22 games overall and too good to pass up in this spot.

Arkansas +14

Texas vs. Texas A&M

This could be the last game in a historic rivalry has the Aggies will bolt for the SEC. The Longhorns are struggling on offense after losing QB Gilbert for the season with a hurt shoulder. The Longhorns are 7-19-1 ATS against a team with a winning record and the Aggies will win this game going away to end the rivalry on a winning note.

Texas A&M -8

Ohio State vs. Michigan

One of the best rivalries in all of college football gets underway this weekend when the Buckeyes and the Wolverines match up. In a switch from recent year, Michigan brings the better team into this game and is established as 7.5 point favorites. The Buckeyes are 21-4-1 ATS in their last 26 road games when playing a team with a winning home record and they should keep this rivalry game close enough to take the points.

Ohio State +7.5

Houston vs. Tulsa

This should be one of the better games of the holiday weekend as the undefeated Houston Cougars go up against a motivated Tulsa team. The line was surprisingly low on this game as it opened at jus three points. As expected the public jumped all over Houston minus the low number, and that is enough for me to jump on the underdog.

Tulsa +3.5

West Virginia vs. Pittsburgh

The Backyard Brawl could be coming to an end as Pittsburgh and West Virginia meet for the final time. West Virginia has the talent advantage and should be focused to win this rivalry game. The Mountaineers are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games as a favorite of 3.5-10.0 and the Panthers are 3-10-1 ATS in their last 14 games as a road underdog of 3.5-10.0. Drop the points in this game.

West Virginia -7.5

Georgia vs. Georgia Tech

The Bulldogs have little motivation to be inspired for this game as the SEC Championship is a virtual lock. The Yellow Jackets bring a tough option offense that is difficult to prepare for. The Bulldogs are 5-16 ATS in their last 21 games after scoring less than 20 points in their previous game and the Yellow Jackets are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 non-conference games. The Yellow Jackets have a shot at the outright upset.

Georgia Tech +5.5
