NFL Week 12 Picks – Super Six
Each week, exclusively at Bangthebook.com I will release the Super Six in the NFL. This will be the top six football betting games that the NFL has to offer. The super six last week went 2-4 on the week and the overall record is 33-31-3 and stumbled after a great week.
Here are the Super Six picks for week 12:
Miami Dolphins vs. Dallas Cowboys
This may seem like the most lopsided game of the Thanksgiving week, but the Miami Dolphins are actually playing very good football. The Cowboys have a habit of letting teams stay in the game which is why the Cowboys are 3-11-1 ATS in their last 15 games as a favorite. This number is a bit inflated and the Dolphins will keep it close.
Miami Dolphins +7
Baltimore Ravens vs. San Francisco 49ers
For the second game on the Turkey day slate the Baltimore Ravens vs. San Francisco 49ers will feature two brother head coaches facing off for the first time in NFL history. These teams are mirror images of one another, playing great defense to will ballgames. The public is backing the 49ers in this game, but the road will take its toll.
Baltimore Ravens -3
Buffalo Bills vs. New York Jets
The Buffalo Bills are reeling after a quick start and they get a rematch with the New York Jets, the teams that started this tail spin. This number is outrageous for a Jets team that is playing horrible football. The Bills are 9-4 ATS in their last 13 games as a road underdog of 3.5-10.0 and with 63% on the Jets, I will take the dog in this game.
Buffalo Bills +8
Chicago Bears vs. Oakland Raiders
This is a tough spot for the Bears since they are on the road, but even tougher without the services of quarterback Jay Cutler, who is sitting out with a thumb injury. Team surprisingly play well without their star player (see last week Eagles without Vick) as they play harder to make up for it. The Raiders are 8-23 ATS in their last 31 games as a favorite and will fail to cover this number.
Chicago Bears +5.5
Denver Broncos vs. San Diego Chargers
The Bolts are playing without energy this year, but everyone is waiting for the turnaround. Tim Tebow is winning and covering football games, but not getting any respect. The public is backing the Chargers although they are 0-6-1 ATS in their last 7 games following a loss and 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games overall. Ride the streak and the Denver Broncos.
Denver Broncos +6.5
Cleveland Browns vs. Cincinnati Bengals
The Cincinnati Bengals are having a great year, but off two losses. Now they host the Cleveland Browns as very big favorites. This number opened at 7 and has been bet up to nine points with the public backing the Bengals at over 80%! The Browns are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 games as a road underdog of 3.5-10.0 and the Bengals are 3-13 ATS in their last 16 games as a favorite of 3.5-10.0. The Bengals are physically tapped after back-to-back games with the Steelers and the Ravens.
