College Football Lock of the Week – Week 14
Ladies and Gentlemen my name is JT Sneaks and I will be taking over the college football lock article of the week. Matt Regaw has moved on to the new cappers section here at bangthebook.com. I intend to continue the winning tradition that he started and look forward to picking free winners every week.
This week the college football lock of the week comes from the SEC Championship game.
Look people, let’s make this simple, LSU is the best team in the country. This line could not be high enough but Vegas got enough even action by putting 12 points on the SEC Championship game, but it won’t be enough.
The Tigers are not looking past this game, they want the SEC, and they know that win would nearly guarantee a share of the No. 1 spot. I will give credit where credit is due, and the Bulldogs are having a good year, but the schedule is lame, while the Tigers have played the cream of the crop.
Aaron Murray will not know what hit him when he lines up against a defense that is most likely more talented than a few NFL teams, especially after watching the Philadelphia Eagles try and tackle last night. The Bulldogs are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games on fieldturf, which means speed kills, and guess what LSU has speed.
The Tigers are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 conference games, 7-1 ATS against a team with a winning record, and 6-2-1 ATS in their last nine neutral site games. Most importantly the Tigers are 7-1-1 ATS in their last nine games in December this means that Les Miles knows how to rally the troops and will have his team ready to win the SEC Championship and win big.
