NCAA Men’s Basketball Betting Previews- Arizona Wildcats vs. No. 12 Florida Gators
Point spread: Florida -13.5
Over/Under: 143
The Arizona Wildcats will look to climb their way back into the national rankings when they take-on the Florida Gators this Wednesday night at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center in an early season PAC-12 vs. SEC showdown. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m. (ET) and the game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN.
Arizona started the season ranked 16th in the country but back-to-back losses to Mississippi State and San Diego State as a favorite send it tumbling out of the top 25. The Wildcats are currently 6-2 straight-up on the year, but a costly 2-6 against the spread. The total has been evenly split at 4-4 in their eight games.
Solomon Hill leads Arizona in scoring with 12.4 points a game and is shooting 48.4 percent from the floor, but as a whole the team is ranked 179th in the country in points per game with 68 and 210th in field goal percentage; hitting just 42.5 percent.

Florida is coming off a tough 72-68 near-miss against No.3 Syracuse this past Friday night as a seven-point underdog. It is now 5-2 SU and 2-1 ATS in games with posted lines. The Gators are 4-0 SU at home this season and the total has gone ‘over’ in two of three games.
The main scoring threat for Florida has been Kenny Boynton, who is averaging 19 points a game. Bradley Beal is second on the team in points with 15.6 and rebounds with seven. The Gators hope to have Erik Murphy back for Wednesday night to help bolster their bench after missing the last three games with a knee injury.
The Wildcats are 2-6 ATS in their last eight non-conference games and 1-4 ATS in their last five games against the SEC. The total has stayed ‘under’ in six of their last seven games against this conference.
The Gators are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 non-conference games and 6-1 ATS in their last seven games against the PAC-12. The total has gone ‘over’ in their last five games at home.
It is hard to see Florida losing two games in-a-row especially on its home court. Stick with the Gators to win and cover over what has been a very inconsistent Wildcats team in the early going.
