NFL Top Three Over/Under Plays- Week 14
NFL Top Three Over/Under Plays- Week 14
The results on the NFL total line have been balanced-out for three straight weeks after eight games went ‘over’ the total, seven games stayed ‘under’, and one game ended in a ‘push’ in Week 13
Last week, we cashed-in on the Baltimore and Cleveland game staying ‘under’, but were on the wrong end of the total line on our two other picks, bringing our year-to-date record to 23-16. The following are our top three ‘over/under’ plays for Week 14 in the NFL. All lines quoted are provided by BetOnline.com.
Kansas City Chiefs vs. New York Jets Over/Under: 36.5
Since Kansas City quarterback Matt Cassel was lost for the season with a broken hand, the offense has managed to score a combined total of just 22 points in its last three games with Tyler Palko at the helm. The defense has stepped-up in the last two weeks by holding its opponents (Pittsburgh and Chicago) to just 16 total points.
The Jets’ offense continues to struggle with consistency this season. While it did manage to score 34 points against Washington last week, New York trailed 16-13 with a little over seven minutes left to play in the game.
The total has stayed ‘under’ in four of Kansas City’s last five road games and in its last seven games overall. The total has also stayed ‘under’ in five of New York’s last seven games as a favorite of 3.5 points or more.

Buffalo Bills vs. San Diego Chargers Over/Under: 47
The Bills’ season has officially crashed and burned after losing five straight games in which their defense has been torched for an average of 31.4 points a game. They are now ranked 26th in the NFL in points allowed; giving-up an average of 25.3 points a game.
San Diego’s offense finally showed some signs of life this past Monday night with a 38-14 victory over Jacksonville in one of its best performances this season. Philip Rivers passed for 294 yards and three touchdowns while completing 78.6 percent of his throws.
The total has gone ‘over’ in six of Buffalo’s last seven road games and in seven of its last eight games as a underdog. The total has also gone ‘over’ in 10 of the Chargers last 14 games following an ATS win and in four of their last five games following a SU win.
The Free NFL Pick: OVER
The Oakland Raiders vs. Green Bay Packers Over/Under: 52.5
Oakland’s defense was burnt for 34 points in last Sunday’s loss to Miami and is now ranked 27th in the league in points allowed; giving-up an average of 25.7 points a game. Offensively, the Raiders have averaged 22.8 points a game with Carson Palmer as their starting quarterback.
The Packers posted 38 points in last Sunday’s nail-biting victory over the Giants to remain the top scoring team in the league with an average of 35 points a game. There are still some major issues on the defensive side of the ball with a unit that is ranked 31st in the league in total yards allowed.
The total has gone ‘over’ in four of Oakland’s last five games overall. It has also gone ‘over’ in five of the Packers last six home games and in six of their last seven games played in December.
