NFL Upset of the Week – Week 14
Here comes the upset for this week in the NFL. The NFL week 14 schedule is loaded with potential upsets and finding them is the hardest part. Once you do find them however, they are very nice to wager on and collect a sweet payday.
Tim Tebow is one of the biggest names in the NFL and for as much as his critics might hate it, he is winning ballgames. After his last come from behind win against the Minnesota Vikings and the recent injury problems for the Chicago Bears, the Broncos were established as 3.5 point favorites this Sunday.
The problem with that is the Broncos do not win big, the offense is built for blowouts and covering any number never mind something bigger than a field goal. This will be possibly the best defense that the Broncos have faced since implementing the new offense.
The betting trends favor the Bears in this game. The Bears are 6-1-1 ATS in their last 8 games after scoring less than 15 points in their previous game and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games after accumulating less than 250 total yards in their previous game. The Broncos are 16-34-1 ATS in their last 51 games as a favorite, 8-21-1 ATS in their last 30 games after scoring more than 30 points in their previous game, and 2-14 ATS in their last 16 games as a home favorite of 3.5-10.0.
This all spells trouble for the Broncos against the Bears this weekend. Don’t blindly follow Tebow with knowing the facts of this game, and the fact is the Broncos may lose outright to the Bears. The Chicago Bears are the upset pick of the week.
