College Football Week 4 Betting Strategies

With the college football season in full swing the college football betting strategies become more important to winning money when betting on football. This week in college football the betting strategy will focus on betting on the home underdog on national television in the lone game. This is a very broad strategy so it is important to know that it does not apply to every home dog on the national stage. However, it does apply in week four of the college football season.

The Louisiana Monroe Warhawks host the Baylor Bears this Friday night when they play on ESPN. The opening line for this game has the Warhawks listed as seven point underdogs. As mentioned this strategy does not apply to every game, but it does apply to this game for several reasons.

The Warhawks are the only game on the schedule. This gives extra emphasis to the home team as they will get all of the attention from football fans who are starving for some action before kickoff on Saturday.

Another thing to mention is that Louisiana Monroe is a very god team. They received national notoriety already once this year by pulling off “The Shock in Little Rock” and defeating the then No. 8 ranked Arkansas Razorbacks. That win showed that this team could play with anyone in the country.

The Warhawks then followed that game up with an overtime game against the Auburn Tigers. The Warhawks had a chance to win it, but could not pull it out in overtime. Now they return home under the national spotlight with the confidence of going toe-to-toe with two teams from the SEC.

This makes the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks a college football pick as a home underdog in week four.
