College Football Odds Week 7: Early Lines on Big Games
The college football season enters week 7 and is just about at the halfway point for the season. The season is changing with every week as the rankings are turned upside down on a regular basis. The reason for that is the amount of big games that are played every week. When betting on these big games it is important to get the lines as soon as possible to get the most value out of the line.
Here is a look at the early line for the big games in week 7 in the college football season.
The Red River Rivalry continues this season when Texas and Oklahoma face off in the latest installment of the rivalry. The line opened up with the Sooners as three point favorites, which is evident of how close this rivalry has been over the years.
In perhaps the biggest game of the week the Stanford Cardinal go up against the undefeated Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Stanford is not as playing as well as when they beat the USC Trojans and after the Irish pummeled the Canes a week ago, it should be no surprise that the Irish are big favorites in this game. The Irish opened up as big time 9.5 point favorites over the Cardinal for this week.
It wouldn’t be a big week without a big game in the SEC. Fresh off a loss the LSU Tigers will look for redemption when they host the South Carolina Gamecocks. Despite the loss a week ago, the Tigers are a much better team at home and that is why they opened up as 2.5 point favorites. A win could put LSU back in the hunt for the national championship.
