The college football schedule in week 12 may not be loaded with marquee games but there are plenty of situations that can prove to be profitable. One of the many tools used to handicap games is the college football betting trends. As noted in previous articles, the trends can often indicate certain angles that may not be obvious to the public bettor.

These trends can lead to identifying winners and here are a few that stand out in week 12.

The Michigan Wolverines need to finish strong and facing a team like Iowa is usually a good thing but the trends are not in their favor in this game. The Wolverines are 10-27 against the spread (ATS) in their last 37 conference games and 3-12 ATS in their last 15 games in November.

The biggest games of the week are in the Pac-12 as USC battles UCLA and Stanford takes on Oregon.

USC has had a sub-par year that is below their standards and will need a win if they hope to make any type of big bowl appearance. In the past they have thrived against the Bruins as the Trojans are 9-4 ATS in their last 13 meetings.

The Bruins are 6-13 ATS in their last 19 games after allowing more than 450 total yards in their previous game which would point to an early lean on the Trojans.

In the other big Pac-12 game, the Ducks will look to remain unbeaten against Stanford. The top-ranked Ducks are 21 point favorite sin this game. The Ducks will also have to overcome some trends that oppose them.

The Cardinal is 20-7 ATS in their last 27 games after allowing less than 100 yards rushing in their previous game and 36-16-1 ATS in their last 53 games overall.

These are some of the more powerful college football betting trends heading into Week 11. Doing research could make the difference between winning and losing on any given Saturday.
