Saints vs. Falcons Prop Picks at Bet Any Sports Sportsbook
BetAnySports.com is back with another great set of NFL betting props for the NFL Network’s Thursday Night Football. Join us for the Atlanta Falcons vs. New Orleans Saints prop picks for this NFC South duel at the Georgia Dome.
Drew Brees Over 308.5 Passing Yards (-115): The time is clearly here for Brees to step up and have just a humongous game. Over the course of his last four, he hasn’t completed more than 26 passes, and he hasn’t cracked the 300-yard mark, but this time around, he knows that he is going to have to rip it and grip it a ton of times to keep up with the Falcons. This isn’t a terrible defense that Brees is playing against, and it is a ‘D’ that has allowed over 300 yards passing just twice this year. However, if QB Carson Palmer and QB Tony Romo can do it, with both games coming here at the Georgia Dome, so can Brees. Passing game be damned in this one. Go with Brees to explode.
Jimmy Graham Over 69.5 Receiving Yards (-115): Graham has been relatively quiet over the course of the last few weeks, and just like Brees, it’s a bit eerie to think like that. He had just four catches for 33 yards in last week’s loss to the San Francisco 49ers, and it was TE David Thomas, not he was the in the end zone. However, Graham still had scored in four previous games, including going off for seven catches, 146 yards, and two touchdown against these Falcons just three weeks ago. Atlanta has had five games this year in which opposing tight ends have racked up at least 70 yards, and there’s no reason to think that Graham isn’t going to be one of those guys who can get to that mark in this one when push comes to shove.
Matt Ryan Over 313.5 Passing Yards (-115): This is a terribly high number to try to shoot at for Matty Ice, but why the heck not in this game? There are going to be at least three, and likely at least four TDs per side in this one, and both teams are going to air it out all night long. We wouldn’t be surprised to see both quarterbacks ultimately end up with over 400 passing yards, not just 300 yards. The New Orleans secondary has allowed seven different quarterbacks to throw for over 300 yards this year, including conceding 411 yards and three TDs to Matty Ice three weeks ago. Ryan has completed at least 24 passes in four straight games, and the closer that games are getting that his team is playing, the more that he is throwing it. There is a diminishing value to RB Michael Turner, and that’s only heaping more onto Ryan. He’ll come to the table in a big way with a ton of yards on Thursday.
Tony Gonzalez To Score a Touchdown (+105): Getting a theme here? We love quarterbacks, and we love tight ends in this game. Gonzo had 11 catches, 122 yards, and two TDs against the Saints the first time around. He has scored in six of his 11 games this year, and he has had a history of really tearing apart New Orleans. The Saints have been torched by tight ends as well this year, especially of late, allowing at least 67 yards in five out of six games since the team’s bye week. Tight ends this year against New Orleans have averaged 5.1 receptions, 61.9 yards, and 0.4 TDs per game. We think that Gonzalez is going to smash those numbers to bits on Thursday.
Julio Jones Over 86.5 Receiving Yards (-115): The combination of Gonzalez, Jones, and WR Roddy White is absolutely amazing. We haven’t really seen Jones have a game where he catches just a ton of passes, but he did have six grabs for 147 yards and a TD last week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Now, against a very similar secondary which he went for 75 yards on four receptions on in a game in which he got hurt three weeks ago, Jones should do even better this time around. We expect this to be his fourth 100+ yard game this year against a secondary that has allowed at least 200 yards six times to opposing wide receivers.
