With week 15 about to get underway, teams everywhere are looking at the schedule. Some teams are looking for the end of the season to get here, while other teams are getting ready for big games that could decide their playoff fate or divisional titles.

This is also something that a professional handicapper should look at when placing a wager on football. Not all teams will look past games, but it is inevitable for certain teams and more importantly certain situations.

The perfect example going into week 15 may be the Seattle Seahawks. The Seahawks are off one of their most impressive wins of the season. The Seahawks dominated the Arizona Cardinals in every facet of the game. On offense Russell Wilson and Marshawn Lynch moved the ball at will and put up plenty of points. The defense had a massive amount of turnovers in this game and in front of one of the most dominating home field advantages in the game, the found a way to sneak back into the divisional race.

The Seattle Seahawks will be excited to play against the San Francisco 49ers down the road as they have a realistic chance of clinching the top spot in the division. However, before they do that they will have to take on the Buffalo Bills. The Bills are an awful team that is out of the playoff race but this game sets up a soft spot for the Seahawks.

The Seahawks have to play on the road and deal with the extra distraction of playing in Canada. This will be a logistic nightmare for a team that has struggled in road games in the past. With one eye on the 49ers and a tough game North of the border the Seahawks are in a soft spot.
