College Football Consensus: Double-Digits Dominate

Each week before picking winner son the college football schedule, the consensus report should be used as a vital tool. This tool will not only allow for public betting trends but it can reveal money movement and even forecast line moves.

If used properly it can save a football bettor time and more importantly money.

SportsBookIn week 12 of the college football schedule, the consensus report is very revealing. It is common knowledge that the public loves to bet on favorites and sometimes the line does not even seem to matter and that is the case heading into this week.

Out of the five highest picked road teams this week, four of those teams are dropping double digits. The most popular of those plays is from the Pac-12. Washington is a hefty 20.5 chalk over Colorado. The Buffaloes have struggled all season long and because of that they are only attracting 30 percent of the public action. Nevada (-10.5 /67 percent) and Buffalo (-11/66 percent) are other popular road teams getting heavy action, but the most well known road favorite getting money is the top-ranked Kansas State Wildcats.

After the shocking loss by Alabama a week ago, the Wildcats only need to win outright to get their shot at a national title. Because of this lofty goal and the public spotlight the public is jumping on the Wildcats as (-13) point road favorites although they are on the road against Baylor.

As could be expected favorites at home are getting heavy action, especially the double-digit ones.

The top six most wagered on teams at home for week 12 of the college football season are double-digit favorites. The most popular is UL Monroe who are giving -10.5 points and attracting 74 percent of the action.

With all of these double-digit underdogs getting heavy action, there is most likely to be a big upset this weekend. Checkout the live Public Betting Consensus Here
