College Football Week 8 Trends: Trends Two Watch
The college football season presses on for Week 8 as the BCS standings were announced. The games are getting more important and it is vital to look at some of the recent trends that could affect the outcome of games.
It starts early on Thursday this week when Oregon travels to Arizona State for a big early test. It is interesting to note that the trends show the Sun Devils as a good net as a home team in conference. The Sun Devils are 13-6-3 ATS in their last 22 conference games and 13-6-1 ATS in their last 20 home games.
Michigan State and Michigan battle in the Big Ten and although the Wolverines are on a roll, a recent trend uncovers the fact that they are not very good when playing against a good team. The Wolverines are 2-7 ATS in their last nine home games when playing a team with a winning road record. This may not mean the Wolverines lose but it is interesting to note as they play against the Spartans.
Notre Dame tops out in the top five in the new BCS Standings, and this week they have to battle the BYU Cougars. The Cougars have had kicking problems all season long, but they do have a knack for bringing the money home for college football bettors. The Cougars are 10-4 ATS in their last 14 games overall and getting a nice number this week against the Irish.
Finally the Gamecocks battle the Gators in a big SEC battle and one look at the trends uncovers a home/road discrepancy for these teams. The Gators are 2-5-1 ATS in their last 8 home games and the Gamecocks are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 road games.
These trends may not uncover winners but they do provide valuable information leading up to kickoff. For more College Football Betting Trends Click Here
