College Football Super Six Sports Betting Picks
Last week the Super Six in college football managed to go 2-4 as the up and down trend continued for another week. Now the overall record for the year is at 17-18-1. Of course this is good news as we head towards this week in college football.
Each week I will release my Super Six for the weekend in college football. It will highlight six games on the college football schedule that are worth betting on with an explanation that features the latest odds and sports betting trends.
Here is the Super Six in week eight:
UCLA at Arizona
Thursday night college football is covering the Pac-12 yet again as the UCLA Bruins will visit the desert to take on the Arizona Wildcats. The Wildcats season has been a failure up to this point and the head coach was fired. Now with a home game under the lights, the Wildcats are ready to prove they can still play. The Bruins are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 games following a bye week and lose this game.
West Virginia at Syracuse
The Friday night college football game features a game from the Big East when the West Virginia Mountaineers take on Syracuse. The Orange are a better team this year and you can expect a stiff defensive effort against Geno Smith, with the support of the Carrier Dome fans. The Orange are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games following a bye week and will be prepared for this game.
Wisconsin at Michigan State
The Badgers are facing the last hurdle to possibly going undefeated and looking for revenge ater losing to the Spartans a year ago in East Lansing. The Badgers have Russell Wilson at quarterback this year and that will be the difference as the Badgers run away with ths game and climb the BCS Rankings.
Kansas State at Kansas
The BCS’ No. 11 Kansas State Wildcats are 6-0, but plenty of experts are still doubting this team. A win against rival Kansas, may not prove anything, but the Cats need to stay undefeated before the big game against Oklahoma. The Wildcats are 45-22-1 ATS in their last 68 games after accumulating less than 170 yards passing in their previous game and rebound well after a poor game. The Wildcats just find a way to win and they do it again this week, but fail to cover.
Oklahoma State at Missouri
The Oklahoma State Cowboys are ranked high in the latest BCS Rankings and need to make sure they don’t stumble in this game against the Missouri Tigers. The Cowboys offense led by senior quarterback Brandon Weeden is nearly unstoppable, but their defense has shown signs of weakness, that should keep this game close. The Tigers are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games after allowing less than 20 points in their previous game and have a shot at the upset.
Washington at Stanford
The Stanford Cardinal are one of the best teams in the country and don’t have a problem covering the big number. Andrew Luck is leading this team to the promise land, but after a poor showing in the first BCS Rankings, they still need to prove more at the expense of Washington. The Cardinal are 20-6-1 ATS in their last 27 games as a favorite and cover another big number.
