NBA Betting Odds: VietBet
Pointspread: Denver -1.5
Total Line: 213
After splitting the first two games of this best-of-seven series on their home court, the Nuggets’ woes on the road in the playoffs continued this past Friday night with a 110-108 loss as 1.5-point favorites. They are now 1-11 straight-up in their last 12 playoff games on the road and facing a deep hole in this series if they do not find a way to reverse this trend. Denver hammered-out a 97-95 victory as a 7.5-point home favorite in Game 1, but it was on the wrong end of a 131-117 track meet in Game 2 as an 8.5-point favorite at home. The total went OVER in the last two games.
You cannot blame Ty Lawson for Denver’s situation after taking things up a notch or two with 22 points a game in this series as opposed to a regular season average of 16.2 points. He also leads the team in assists with 8.7 while shooting 46.3 percent from the field. Andre Miller is chipping-in another 17.7 points and the Nuggets have four other players scoring at least nine points a game but they are not getting the buckets when they need them the most.
When David Lee when down in Game 1 with a season-ending hip injury, many bettors probably wrote off the Warriors in this series, but after covering the spread in all three playoff games they are now a profitable 7-1 ATS in their last eight games. The total has gone OVER in five of those seven games.
It is no big surprise that Stephen Curry leads Golden State in scoring with 26 points a game after averaging 22.6 points in the regular season. He also leads the team in assists (11.0) and steals (2.3) while shooting 46.7 percent from the field and a blazing 44.4 percent from three-point range. In Lee’s absence both Jarrett Jack (19.7 points) and Harrison Barnes (17 points) have stepped-up to fill the void. Jack was instrumental in Friday night’s win with 23 points, five rebounds and seven assists.

Denver has obviously had its issues on the road in the playoffs but it is still way too talented a team to completely rollover in this series. Look for another tight battle on Sunday night but this time around the Nuggets get the shots to fall down the stretch to even things up at two games apiece. Denver 107 Golden State 104
