-The Texas Rangers have a huge series against the Los Angeles Angels this weekend. The Rangers have won 7 straight games against the Angels. Texas is 4-0 in their last 4 games in Los Angeles. The series gets started Friday night with former Ranger C.J. Wilson starting against his old team.
-Pittsburgh is 9-4 in their last 13 games against the St. Louis Cardinals. The Cardinals are 7-0 in Joe Kelly’s last 7 starts, and he will start Friday night for St. Louis. The Pirates are 4-1 in A.J. Burnett’s last 5 starts against the Cardinals, and he’ll start for Pittsburgh on Friday.
-Totals bettors should keep an eye on the under in the Detroit Tigers vs. Kansas City Royals series this weekend. The under is 18-7-1 in the last 26 meetings in Kansas City between these two teams. James Shields starts for Kansas City on Friday, and the under is 6-0 in his last 6 starts overall.

-After a recent hot streak, the White Sox have cooled back down in a hurry. The south siders have lost 7 straight games. Chicago is 14-37 in their last 51 road games. Baltimore is 6-1 in their last 7 as a home favorite, and they’ll be favored in every game in this series this weekend.
-The Tampa Bay Rays are in danger of losing their grip on the second AL Wildcard spot. The Rays are 3-8 in their last 11 games overall. Tampa Bay is 12-5 in their last 16 meetings with the Mariners though, and they’ll be up against Seattle this weekend.
