    The NASCAR drivers will race for the second straight time under the lights when they start their engines in Daytona Beach, FL on Saturday night for the Coke Zero 400 powered by Coca-Cola. Daytona International Speedway, completed in 1959, is a 2.5-mile, tri-oval track with huge bankings (31° turns, 18° tri-oval banking). The frontstrech measures 3,800 feet.....

    Toyota/Save Mart 350 Preview

    The NASCAR drivers take to the road, literally, Sunday when they tackle Sonoma’s road course. The course was originally constructed in 1968 as a 2.52-mile course, but was re-designed in 1998 to the current 1.95 miles, increasing the distance of the event to its current 218.9 miles covering 110 laps.     The NASCAR circuit takes on a second straight long track on Sunday afternoon at Michigan International Speedway. This 2-mile D-shaped oval track was built in 1968 and remains one of the fastest tracks out there.
