NBA Betting Preview – Los Angeles Lakers vs Denver Nuggets

The Los Angeles Lakers will look to turn things around on the road this Friday night when they travel to the Pepsi Center to square-off against the Denver Nuggets. The game is set to tip-off at 10:30 p.m. (ET) and it will be broadcast nationally on ESPN.
Los Angeles is 11-2 straight-up and 8-5 against the spread at home this season, but it has really struggled on the road with a 2-7 record both SU and ATS. There has been no problem with Denver’s ability to score points this season as it leads the league with 105.4 points a game. The problem has been the Nuggets’ ability to stop their opponents from doing the same. They are 27th in the NBA in points allowed; giving-up an average of 99.2 point a game.
The Lakers are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games against the Northwest Division and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games overall. The total has gone ‘over’ in four of their last five games overall.
The Nuggets are 8-1-1 ATS in their last 10 games against the Pacific Division and 15-7-2 ATS in their last 24 games at home. The total has gone ‘over’ in six of their last eight game overall.
Head-to-head, Los Angeles is 1-7-1 ATS in the last nine meetings and 1-4 ATS in its last five trips to the Pepsi Center. The total has stayed ‘under’ in four of the last five meetings in Denver.
