NBA Weekly Betting Angles Nov 14-17th
Every week here at Bang the Book.com we will cover the NBA from coast to coast by posting some betting angles that can help the basketball handicapper learn some rules and techniques that can put extra money in their pocket when betting on basketball. This article is designed to provide the handicapper with tips for betting on basketball that they can use for the entire season.
Here is a look at some of the betting angles that are in action for the next few days.
One of the things that often gets overlooked when handicapping the NBA is the schedule. The schedule can affect how a team plays especially if they are fatigued or well rested before going into a game. This plays a big role in basketball betting for the next few days.
It all starts on Thursday night when the Oklahoma City Thunder travel to take on the Golden State Warriors. The Thunder played a physical game on Wednesday night against the LA Clippers and have to play back to back games with travel when they play the Warriors. Although NBA teams get adjusted to the grind and the hectic travel schedule, it should be noted that this will be the first time all season that the Thunder are in a back to back spot on the schedule. This scheduling problem will provide a night mare for the Thunder who should fade late in this game against the up-tempo Warriors. The Thunder is not the only team to watch when it comes to scheduling this weekend.
The Chicago Bulls are also a team to watch this weekend, but the schedule actually plays in their favor. The Bulls enter play this weekend in good shape as they have only played four games in the last thirteen days. This is very good news for a Bulls team that started the season off very slowly. Derrick Rose also could use the extra time as he left the last game he played with a minor hamstring injury. He is not expected to miss any games and the Bulls will not only be in prime shape for the game against the Toronto Raptors, but they will be focused and ready for revenge for their next game. After playing the Raptors on Friday night, the Bulls will host the Indiana Pacers. The Pacers stomped the Bulls in the first meeting by 17 points and they will be looking to exact some revenge and get back into the division race.
The Bulls will be one team to watch as the schedule helps them out in this spot.
