NBA Weekly Betting Tips – December 12th-15th
The NBA season is a long and winding road and it can become a grind for the players as well as for basketball handicappers. With that in mind it is important for the handicappers to keep an eye out for betting angles. These betting angles will point out certain areas during the season that a handicapper will want to highlight and pay attention to if they want to win money betting on basketball on a regular basis.
Here at Bang the Book.com we will post a weekly article entitled “NBA Weekly Betting Angles” that will do all the hard work for you so you don’t have to spend all of your hard time looking for these unique angles that can make you some profit during the basketball season.
Here is a look at a few systems or betting angles that stand out this week in the National Basketball Association.
The TV Spot
In basketball, players can get up or down for certain teams or locations. For example it would be rare for a team to get up for a game in Milwaukee or Detroit. But a trip to Miami to play against the defending champions may be a completely different story. The key to this betting angle is finding out when those teams may be in a lull or a look ahead spot.
The Houston Rockets are in this spot this week.
The Rockets are one of the best teams in the Western Conference. Ever since signing Dwight Howard in the offseason the expectations have been set very high for this team. This week they are running into a tough stretch of playoff caliber teams and they are playing these teams on national television.
On Thursday night the Rockets will travel to Portland to take on the Trail Blazers in the Rose Garden. The Trail Blazers are one of the biggest surprises of the season and a very tough team to bet on the road.
After that game the Rockets will head to Golden State to take on Stephen Curry and the Warriors. The Warriors are not only a playoff contender, but they are also considered by some to be a favorite to compete for the NBA Championship. Both of these games should be very exciting for the Rockets as they play two very good teams on the National televised stage.
From there they will head to lowly Sacramento to take on the Kings on Sunday night. The Kings are not a very good team and are still in a rebuilding mode. However this is a good spot to back them. The Rockets will have a very tough time getting up for this game and are a fade.
Play Against: Houston Rockets @ Sacramento Kings Sunday night. (Dec 15th)
