NBA Weekly Betting Tips – November 21st-23rd
Every week here at Bang the Book.com we will cover the NBA from coast to coast by posting some betting angles that can help the basketball handicapper learn some rules and techniques that can put extra money in their pocket when betting on basketball. This article is designed to provide the handicapper with tips for betting on basketball that they can use for the entire season.
Here is a look at some of the betting angles that are in action for the next few days.
The NBA schedule is a grind and every day is a new game in a new city and that can wear on a team. It is often difficult for a team to get up for a game against an opponent. There are two reasons that an opponent could be overlooked. The first is if there is a big game on the horizon and the second is if they have recently defeated this team. Identifying these vulnerable areas on the schedule will help a handicapper. Both of these scenarios are in play for the next few days and this is something that the basketball handicapper should take notice of.
On Wednesday night the Atlanta Hawks defeated the Detroit Pistons by the final score of 93-85. It was not an easy win by any means, but the Hawks won. With only a one day rest in between games, the Hawks will now have to fly to Motown to take on the Pistons. It is extremely difficult for a team to beat any team in the league twice in as many nights. For that reason alone, a play should be considered on the Pistons in this rematch. Another thing to watch is long and winding road trips.
The Chicago Bulls are about to kick off their annual six game road trip they refer to as the Circus trip. The Bulls hit the road every year for an extended road trip because the circus has taken over their arena. This can be a nightmare for the Bulls. On Sunday the Bulls will take on Chris Paul and the LA Clippers. This will be a perfect spot to fade the Bulls.
They will be playing their third game in four nights and will include previous stops in Denver to face the Nuggets and in Portland to face the Trail Blazers. The Bulls are a team that is decimated by injuries to Jimmy Butler and a still recovering Derrick Rose, which will only be amplified on a road trip. Under manned and road weary, the Bulls are a perfect fade on a Sunday afternoon game against the vastly improved Clippers.
Play ON: Friday: Pistons Over Hawks, Sunday: Clippers over Bulls
