NFL Betting Trends for Wild Card Weekend
All season long BangtheBook has brought you NFL betting trends to consider that will help you get paid. It’s week one of the playoffs, and we’re going to give you betting trends to consider for each game in Wild Card Weekend. There are only four games, but Wild Card weekend always has plenty of excitement. Expect more of the same this week.
-The first game of the weekend is Kansas City vs. Indianapolis at Lucas Oil Stadium on Saturday. Kansas City is 0-5 ATS in their last 5 playoff games. The Chiefs are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 road games though, and their road prowess this year is what made them a playoff team. The Indianapolis Colts are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 vs. the AFC. They are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games during January. The Chiefs are 3-10 ATS in their last 13 games against the Colts. The under is 5-1 in the last 6 meetings between these two.
-The nightcap on Saturday is the Saints vs. the Eagles in Philadelphia. New Orleans was a machine at home this year, but the Saints didn’t win enough on the road to have home field advantage in the playoffs. New Orleans is 0-6 ATS in their last 6 road games. The Eagles are 6-20-1 ATS in their last 27 home games. The over is 8-1-1 in the Saints last 10 playoff games. The under is 6-0-1 in the Eagles last 7 playoff home games.
-The Chargers and Bengals get things started on Sunday afternoon. San Diego is 7-3-1 ATS in their last 11 road games. The Chargers are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 following an ATS loss. Cincinnati has been dominating at home this year. The Bengals are 11-1 ATS in their last 12 home games. Cincinnati is 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games against a team with a winning record. The Bengals haven’t had any playoff success though. Cincinnati is 0-4 ATS in their last 4 playoff games. The over is 7-2-2 in the last 11 meetings between these two teams.
-Maybe the most intriguing game of the weekend is the late game on Sunday. The 49ers travel to Lambeau Field to take on the Green Bay Packers. Aaron Rodgers led his team to a dramatic comeback win in Chicago last weekend. The Packers have had a tough time against the 49ers of late. San Francisco is 3-1-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings between these two teams. San Francisco is 6-0 ATS in their last 6 road games. The over is 6-0 in the last 6 meetings between these two teams.
