Denver Broncos vs. Oakland Raiders (-9)
The AFC west rivalry game is usually close, but if the opening line is any indication, it won’t be this week. The Oakland Raiders opened as 7 point favorites and promptly shot up to nine most at most outlets. This is because the public is backing the silver and black off a bye week. Tim Tebow’s bad game against Detroit did not help as football bettors over reacted to last week.
New York Giants vs. New England Patriots (-10)
The New England Patriots host the New York Giants in the game of the week and the Pats opened up as 9 point favorites. The Patriots are a public team, but the action is nearly split at 52% early betting money on the home team. The line has pushed up to ten points in this game, as many fans think the Patriots will win big after losing to the Steelers and the Giants continue to get disrespected.
Baltimore Ravens vs. Pittsburgh Steelers (-3.5)
The Steelers will not have much time to react after a big win against the Patriots. They now host the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday night football and the line opened up at -3. Pittsburgh is now asking to cover 3.5 after over 70% of the early betting money is on the Steelers.
