NFL Top Three Over/Under Plays- Week 13

NFL Top Three Over/Under Plays- Week 13

It took the odds makers a bit longer than expected, but last week they finally brought a perfect balance to the total line with eight games going ‘over’ the total and eight games staying ‘under’.

Last week, we cashed-in on New York and New Orleans going ‘over’, but were on the wrong end of the total line on our two other picks, bringing our year-to-date record to 22-14. The following are our top three ‘over/under’ plays for Week 13 in the NFL. All lines quoted are provided by BetOnline.com.

Baltimore Ravens vs. Cleveland Browns Over/Under: 37.5

The total has actually gone ‘over’ in eight of Baltimore’s 11 games this season, but its offense has only managed to score an average of 21.8 points in its last four games. The Ravens’ defense remains as stout as ever; giving-up an average of just 18 points a game over the same stretch.

NFL Top Three Over/Under Plays- Week 13

Cleveland has sunk to 4-7 on the year behind an offense that is ranked in the bottom third of the league in every major category including scoring with an average of just 15 points a game. The Browns defense is giving-up an average of just 19.6 points a game and should be even harder to score on as the wind off Lake Erie turns cold.

The total has stayed ‘under’ in four of the Browns last five home games. It has also stayed ‘under’ in five of the last seven meetings between the two in Cleveland.

Dallas Cowboys vs. Arizona Cardinals Over/Under: 45.5

Coming off a solid 4-0 record in November, the Cowboys’ offense averaged 28.5 points a game. They currently have a one-game lead over the Giants in the NFC East, but are smelling some blood in the water with New York dropping its last three games.

Arizona hopes to have quarterback Kevin Kolb back for this game which can only help an offense that has managed to score an average of just 17.5 points a game in his four-game absence. The Cardinals’ defense is currently ranked 21

st

in the league; giving-up an average of 23.3 points a game.

The total has gone ‘over’ in eight of Dallas’s last 11 games on the road and in 11 of its last 15 games as a favorite. The total has also gone ‘over’ in five of Arizona’s last six home games.

San Diego Chargers vs. Jacksonville Jaguars Over/Under: 39

San Diego’s once potent offense has basically ground to a halt during its current six-game slide with an average of just 21.5 points a game. Philip Rivers is having his worst season as a pro with a 61.1 percent completion percentage and 17 interceptions verse just 16 touchdown throws.

Jack Del Rio may be out as head coach, but do not expect any miracles from a Jacksonville offense that is ranked last in the league in passing yards, total yards, and scoring with a dismal 12.5 points a game. The only bright spot has been a defense that is ranked fifth in points allowed.

The total has stayed ‘under’ in seven of San Diego’s last 10 games on Monday night. It has also stayed ‘under’ in 10 of Jacksonville’s 11 games this season.
