NFL Week 10 Betting Trends
Kansas City is the lone unbeaten at 9-0. They are off this weekend preparing for their huge test at Denver next week. Tampa Bay looked ready to get in the win column last week in Seattle before blowing a huge lead in the fourth quarter and losing in overtime. The Seahawks were public darlings earlier this year, but they haven’t put up good efforts in the last two weeks. Carolina is rolling right now, but they’ll be up against San Francisco in a huge game this weekend. Does anybody want to win the NFC East? Everyone is still alive in that division.
BangtheBook has offered a trends to consider article during the baseball season, and now we’ll be having an NFL trends to consider article during the football season as well. This will give bettors a good look at some of the most important trends to consider before placing a bet this week. Let’s look at trends to consider for games this coming weekend.
-Cincinnati lost in ugly fashion to the Dolphins last Thursday night, but the Bengals are still in control of the AFC North. They can get much better control of the division with a win at Baltimore this weekend, while the defending Super Bowl champs desperately need a win. The under is 5-0 in the Ravens last 5 home games. The Bengals are 5-2-1 ATS in the last 8 meetings.
-Detroit and Chicago are tied at 5-3 in the NFC North, so this weekend’s game in Chicago is crucial. The Bears are 0-5-1 ATS in their last 6 home games. They are also 1-4 ATS in their last 5 against a team with a winning record. Detroit is 4-9 ATS in their last 13 against the NFC North, but they are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 at Soldier Field.
-The Giants lost their first six, but in the NFC East they aren’t out of it. They’ve won two in a row and they are favored by a touchdown at home this week. Oakland is 5-0 ATS in their last 5 following an ATS loss, but the favorite is 4-0 ATS in the last 4 games between these teams.
-Can the Packers survive without Aaron Rodgers at the helm? Green Bay is a one-point favorite over Philadelphia at home this weekend. The Packers are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games during week 10, but without Rodgers under center it’s tough to look at past trends in this one.
-The San Diego Chargers lost in heart breaking fashion last week. They host Denver in a key AFC West game this weekend. The Chargers are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 following a straight up loss. The Broncos are just 3-9-2 ATS in the last 14 meetings between these two teams.
-Carolina is 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games. The 49ers are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games. Something has to give in this one. Maybe the most important trend to look at here is the fact that the over is 10-2 in the last 12 meetings between these two teams.
-The New Orleans Saints are 20-6 ATS in their last 26 home games. Dallas is 5-2 ATS in their last 7 road games. The Cowboys are just 2-6 ATS in the last 8 meetings between these teams. This should be an interesting Sunday night contest.
