The overall record for the Super Six this year is 41-35-3, so still doing well.
Here are the Super Six picks for week 14:
Houston Texans vs. Cincinnati Bengals
The Cincinnati Bengals are in a must win situation if they want to make the playoffs. After suffering crucial losses to Pittsburgh and Baltimore, they have no choice but to beat the Texans if they want to keep their hopes intact. The Bengals are good against the run, which will help against Houston. Andy Dalton has enough weapons to exploit the Texans secondary and get the win and the cover.
Kansas City Chiefs vs. New York Jets
The late breakout against the Redskins proves that the Jets are back. They always play well down the stretch and will be able to demolish the Kansas City Chiefs. Mark Sanchez is gaining confidence and has a good chemistry with Santonio Holmes. IT helps that Green is running the ball like the Jets hoped he would. The Chiefs may not put up a point and the Jets cover easily.
New Orleans Saints vs. Tennessee Titans
This is a line move play. The Saints are playing great football of late, but are a different team on the road. The Titans are dangerous off a road underdog game and Chris Johnson looks like his old self again. The Saints opened as 4.5 point favorites and although over 80% are on the Saints, the line is going down. The Titans are the play at plus the points.
Chicago Bears vs. Denver Broncos
The Tim Tebow bandwagon is at capacity and after yet another win, the public is taking the Broncos as a favorite. Big mistake. While the Broncos have been successful with Tebow it has been as underdogs. The Bears may have injuries on offense but they are still solid on defense. The Broncos are 6-20 ATS in their last 26 games as a favorite of 3.5-10.0 and could easily lose this game.
New England Patriots vs. Washington Redskins
The Washington Redskins kept the Jets in check until late in the fourth, but they will have a much easier time moving the ball against the weak Patsie defense. The Skins defense is overlooked and after a big loss last week, this line is over inflated. Pats will win, but not by double digits. With Fred Davis gone, look for Santana Moss to step up and have a good day. The Skins have the Pats on upset alert.
Atlanta Falcons vs. Carolina Panthers
The Atlanta Falcons may be the better football team, but the Carolina Panthers are playing better. The public is on the Falcons despite the fact that Cam Newton is playing exceptional football. The line has dropped from 3 to 1.5 as smart money is coming in on the home team. I follow that type of money and will take the Panthers plus the points.
Carolina Panthers +1.5
