NFL Week 15 Betting Trends
Hopefully everyone was on the ‘over’ early and often last week. The over went 11-5 last week. The weekend ended as the highest scoring weekend in NFL history. That ended up hurting a lot of bettors who played unders because of bad weather that was predicted. In some cases, the bad weather never came. In other cases, the bad weather came and the two teams still scored like crazy.
BangtheBook has offered a trends to consider article during the baseball season, and now we’ll be having an NFL trends to consider article during the football season as well. This will give bettors a good look at some of the most important trends to consider before placing a bet this week. Let’s look at trends to consider for games this coming weekend.
-The Chargers and Broncos get it started on Thursday night. Wes Welker won’t play, but the Broncos still have tons of offensive weapons. The Chargers are 2-9-1 ATS in their last 12 games following an ATS win. The Broncos are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 December games. The Chargers are 5-0-4 ATS in their last 9 games at Denver. The over is 6-1 in the last 7 meetings in Denver.
-The Tampa Bay Bucs are quietly 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games. San Francisco is 5-0 ATS in their last 5 road games, and they are looking to keep their momentum going after a big win over Seattle last weekend. The under is 6-2 in the last 8 meetings.
-Miami is right in the thick of the playoff race now, and the Dolphins host the Patriots in a key game this weekend. Miami is 8-2 ATS in their last 10 home games. The Patriots are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 road games. The Dolphins will want revenge after blowing a big lead at Foxboro earlier this year.
-The Jets are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games following an ATS win. Carolina is 5-0 ATS in their last 5 home games. The home team is a perfect 5-0 ATS in the last 5 games between these two teams.
-Kansas City got back on track in a huge way last weekend with a big win in Washington. They’ll be in Oakland to take on the Raiders this week. The Chiefs are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 road games. They are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games at Oakland. The under is 17-5 in the last 22 games between these teams.
-Philadelphia is red hot with Nick Foles under center. The Eagles are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 road games and they’ll be in Minnesota this week. Philadelphia is 5-1 ATS in their last 6 meetings with the Vikings.
-New Orleans made a statement at home last weekend, but they’ll be in a tricky spot this week in St. Louis. The Saints are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 following a win. The Rams are 10-4 ATS in their last 14 against a team with a winning record. The over is 8-1 in the last 9 games between these two in St. Louis.
-The Bengals are 15-6-1 ATS in their last 22 games overall. They are just 4-10 ATS in their last 14 against Pittsburgh though. The Steelers are likely out of the playoffs altogether this year, so it will be interesting to see how focused they are.
-Baltimore and Detroit meet in a Monday Night game with tons of playoff implications for both teams. Baltimore is 6-2 ATS in their last 8 Monday night games. The home team is 4-0 ATS in the last 4 meetings between these two.
