Minnesota (2-3 SU, 2-3 ATS) got a fortunate win over Dallas last week, but there’s still team chaos with Brett Favre’s ‘sexting’ problems with the league. Green Bay (3-3 SU, 2-4 ATS) has been hit tremendously hard with injuries and dropped its last two games at Washington and home to Miami.
However, the rabid ‘cheesehead’ fans will be up for this game, especially after losing to Favre and Minnesota twice last year.
Dallas (1-4 SU, 1-4 ATS) looks to save its season in a Monday night game against the New York Giants. Coach Wade Phillips will not be fired before then. The G-Men (4-2 SU, 3-3 ATS) are coming off a 28-20 win over Detroit and have a three-game winning streak (2-1 ATS). The ‘Boys are three-point home favorites.
New England (4-1 SU, 2-2-1 ATS) is coming off a great overtime home win over Baltimore, revenging last year’s playoff defeat. The Patriots have a tough game out west at San Diego (2-4 SU, 2-4 ATS), who is 2-0 SU and ATS at home. The Chargers are three-point home favorites.
Pittsburgh’s (4-1 SU, 4-1 ATS) Ben Roethlisberger will play his first road game since his suspension when they travel to the Miami Dolphins (3-2 SU, 3-2 ATS). The Dolphins are three-point dogs as they’ve lost and failed to cover their two home games versus New England and the NY Jets.
San Francisco (1-5 SU, 2-4 ATS) is giving three points at winless Carolina (0-5 SU, 1-4 ATS.) Matt Moore has been named the starter for the Panthers. San Fran just got their first win last week versus Oakland.
There’s no spread right now for Philadelphia (4-2 SU, 3-3 ATS) at Tennessee (4-2 SU, 4-2 ATS). Quarterback Vince Young (knee) is questionable, while Philly will go with Kevin Kolb over the ailing Michael Vick (ribs).
Jacksonville at Kansas City and Oakland at Denver are also ‘no-lines’ right now due to the Jags and Raiders injuries at quarterback.
Detroit, Indianapolis, Houston and the NY Jets are on a bye-week.
