Orlando Magic at Atlanta Hawks Preview 4/15/2008

NBA Betting Preview
Orlando Magic (50-30) at Atlanta Hawks (37-43)
Tuesday, 7:05 pm Eastern – NBA-TV

SBG Global Opening Line: Magic  - 2 , Total  204

The Atlanta Hawks will probably already be in the playoffs when they host the Orlando Magic on Tuesday night.  Indiana had to win at Washington on Tuesday to keep their playoff hopes alive and that was unlikely, which means the Hawks would get the eight spot in the East.  That would mean both Orlando and Atlanta will have clinched playoff positioning but both teams are expected to play their normal rotations on Tuesday. SBG Global reports that early NBA betting has the public taking Magic on the Road.

Orlando

head coach Stan Van Gundy has said that he will rest his players by limiting their minutes during games by about five minutes per game but he wants everyone to stay sharp and fine tune things before the playoffs.  The Hawks lead the season series with the Magic two games to one. The Hawks have won the last six meetings in Atlanta between the two teams including a 98-90 win last month.SBG Global Current Line: Magic  - 3, Total  204.5
