After four weeks, both of these teams were unbeaten. Since then, these two teams have gone in very different directions. The Arizona Cardinals have lost five straight games, and they now sit at 4-5 on the season. Atlanta was unbeaten until last week’s tough 31-27 loss at New Orleans. The Falcons will look to return to their winning ways as they return home for this one. Arizona is just looking to get off the mat. Let’s take a look at this NFC matchup.

Arizona Cardinals vs. Green Bay Packers Pick

The Arizona Cardinals started the season 4-0, but they have now dropped four games in a row. The Green Bay Packers started 2-3, but they have won three straight to go to 5-3 on the season. Arizona will travel to Lambeau Field this weekend to try to get back on track. It certainly won’t be an easy task for the Cardinals.

John Skelton was hurt early in the year, but now Kevin Kolb is out so Skelton is back as the Cardinals starting quarterback.

Even though there have been some cracks in the foundation with two stunning straight-up losses as a favorite, most people would still agree that San Francisco remains one of the best teams in the NFL. At 5-2 SU and 4-3 against the spread it has forged it way back to the top of the NFC West and appears poised to make another deep run in the playoffs.

Quarterback Alex Smith continues to manage the offense well, but the 49ers primary game plan is to rely on a punishing rushing attack led by Frank Gore and a shutdown defense that is ranked first in the NFL in total yards allowed and second in points allowed.
