In what has been one of the better first-round matchups in this year’s NBA playoffs, Brooklyn finds itself in another must-win situation to keep this best-of-seven series alive. After managing to score just 14 points in the first quarter of that series opener, the Bulls went on to lose 106-89 as 4.5-point road underdogs. The total went well OVER the 181.5-point line as a result of Chicago giving-up more than 100 points for just the fourth time in their last 11 games.
The Chicago Bulls have stormed into the postseason as one of the top contenders in the conference. However, they are the underdogs in Game 1 of the playoffs against the Brooklyn Nets in the first playoff game ever played at the Barclays Center.
Brooklyn tightened its grip on the No.4 seed in the Eastern Conference with a lopsided 104-83 victory over Philadelphia on Tuesday night as an 8.5-point favorite at home. The Brooklyn Nets and the Chicago Bulls are both fighting hard to get into the No. 4 seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs, and the two will meet on Thursday night with the number of days dwindling in the NBA betting campaign.
The Portland Trail Blazers are going to be happy to be back at home on Wednesday night after a couple days off, and they’ll be trying to beat the NBA odds against the Brooklyn Nets, who are in the midst of their last West Coast swing of the season.
The Nets find themselves in the middle of the playoff pack in the Eastern Conference with an overall record of 39-28 straight-up that has them holding down the fourth spot in the standings. They are 5-2 both SU and against the spread in their last seven games and the total has gone OVER in their last four.
