The Midwest Region has played out exactly the way you would have expected with the top two seeds meeting for a trip to the Final Four. While there were some minor upsets in this bracket throughout the first couple rounds, the Duke Blue Devils and the Louisville Cardinals beat back all opponents to form what is a terrific Elite Eight matchup. Two heavyweights will square off Friday night in Indianapolis for the chance to play in the Elite 8. Michigan State and Duke have been near the top of the college basketball world for quite some time thanks to their coaches. Tom Izzo and Mike Krzyzewksi are arguably the two guys who have been most consistently taking their teams to the Final Four out of any coaches in the nation. Now, their teams will meet in what should be a tremendous game this Friday night.

The Creighton Blue Jays squeaked into the Round of 32 with a hard fought win over Cincinnati on Friday afternoon. Duke picked up a comfortable win over the Albany Great Danes. Creighton is arguably the most talented mid-major team in the country, so Duke will have to play well to advance to the Sweet Sixteen. Let’s take a closer look at this game.
