The Sunshine State will be ablaze on Wednesday night at the Donald L. Tucker Center, where the Florida Gators will hope to keep their undefeated season going against the Florida State Seminoles in college basketball betting action.
Florida is all the way up to the No. 5 team in the country right now, and with the way that the Kentucky Wildcats have been struggling, there is a real sentiment that this might be the best team in the SEC.
With the Big Ten/ACC Challenge out of the way, now the Big East and the ACC take center stage. Marquette and Florida met last year in the Sweet Sixteen, and the Gators came out with a 68-58 victory. The Badgers are always going to be playing their style of defense no matter who the foe is, and this won’t be an exception. They got off to a great start on that side of the court when they embarrassed the Southeastern Louisiana State Lions 87-47 on Sunday.
It hasn’t taken the Missouri Tigers long to figure out how difficult it is to win in the SEC. Missouri picked up its first SEC win last week against lowly Kentucky. They’ll have a much tougher task this week as they head into the swamp to take on the Florida Gators. The Gators were beaten by rival Georgia last week, and you can bet they are itching to get back on the field.
The Florida Gators might have had a disappointing 2011, but Will Muschamp’s bunch has been on fire in 2012. The Gators are number two in the latest BCS Rankings. They’ll face a stiff test this week when they take on the Georgia Bulldogs at the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party. Emotions will be high, and there is a lot on the line in this key SEC East contest.
