NCAA Football Week 3 Picks- No. 20 Notre Dame vs. No. 10 Michigan State

Notre Dame started the season by rolling over Navy 50-10 as a 14.5-point road favorite in Dublin, Ireland and sneaking by Purdue 20-17 as a 14-point favorite at home, but now it will really be put to the test on Saturday night in this heated annual rivalry. The Fighting Irish won this game last season with ease in a 31-13 blowout as six-point home favorites, but has not won on the road against the Spartans since 2006.

NCAA Football Week 3 Picks- No.1 Alabama vs Arkansas

After two weeks of action, Alabama has clearly established itself as a serious threat to win a second-straight national championship this season. It destroyed Michigan 41-14 on opening day as a 13-point favorite and cruised to a 35-0 win over Western Kentucky as a 38-point home favorite last week. While defense continues to be the backbone of this team, the offense has put up 76 points behind a very balanced attack of running and throwing the ball, which is sort of a twist for this team.

UCONN Huskies vs. Maryland Terrapins College Football Preview

The Maryland Terrapins host the UCONN Huskies on Saturday, at 12:30 pm est. The Huskies are -2.5 point road favorites with a total of 43. The early betting action at one offshore sportsbook is favoring UCONN to the tune of 88%. UCONN is 1-1 with a win over UMASS and a loss to NC STATE while Maryland is off to a 2-0 start to their season with wins over William & Mary and Temple.

No one wants this game more than UCONN fans. It’s a their first crack at former UCONN head coach Randy Edsall. Edsall, who was responsible for putting UCONN football on the map, basically left town in the middle of the night when he accepted the Maryland job.
