A strong contender in the East will travel to face a strong contender in the West when the Golden State Warriors play host to the Indiana Pacers on TNT at 10:30 ET inside Oracle Arena.
The Warriors started the season with four wins in their first five games, but it has been a struggle ever since. This past Wednesday night’s 103-99 loss to Dallas as 4.5-point road underdogs was their fourth loss in their last five games. They are now 9-7 straight-up and 7-7-2 against the spread. The total has stayed UNDER in 10 of the 16 games overall and in six of their last seven outings.
The Thunder will continue their quick two-game West Coast swing after falling to the Los Angeles Clippers 111-103 on Wednesday night as 4.5-point road underdogs. It was just their second straight-up loss in their first seven games, but they have been costly to wager on at 2-5 against the spread. The total went OVER the 209.5-point line against Los Angeles and it has now gone OVER in five of seven games.
It’s already starting to feel like the Golden State Warriors are going to be able to step it up this year and challenge for the Pacific Division title. They take on the favorites to win the division, the Los Angeles Clippers in the second half of the TNT doubleheader on Thursday night.
The San Antonio Spurs looked more like the Spurs of old in their Game Five win at home. The Spurs dominated the second half to win 109-91. Golden State’s offense never got going, and the Warriors made far too many careless turnovers to keep up with San Antonio. The Warriors have showed a ton of fight in the playoffs, and they’ll be trying to force a game 7 with a win in this game.
Oracle Arena is going to be rocking and rolling for what essentially probably is a must win NBA betting affair for the Golden State Warriors. They’ll take on the San Antonio Spurs in Game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals on Sunday in hopes that the trend continues with alternating wins and losses in this series.
San Antonio dug itself into what appeared to be an insurmountable 16-point hole in Game 1 of this best-of-seven Western Conference Semifinal series with less than five minutes to play. Behind veteran leadership and some clutch shots down the stretch, it was able to pull-out a 129-127 double overtime victory as a nine-point home favorite.
It what has to be considered an ‘instant classic’ the Warriors could not hold off a furious rally in a 129-127 double overtime loss in Monday night’s Game 1 as nine-point underdogs on the road. The total went well OVER the 202.5-point line.
Many bettors may have left Golden State for dead after David Lee went down with a season-ending hip injury in Game 1, but this team has proven to be just as resilient as it was throughout the regular season. The Warriors come into Tuesday’s Game 5 of this best-of-seven opening round series needing just one more win to eliminate Denver from the playoffs.
After splitting the first two games of this best-of-seven series on their home court, the Nuggets’ woes on the road in the playoffs continued this past Friday night with a 110-108 loss as 1.5-point favorites.
