Wild Card Weekend of the NFL season is here! With all of the games on the docket each and every week, we are going to be zeroing in on just one side or total that we think is the best of the bunch. Join us today, look at the game on Sunday, January 5th between the San Francisco 49ers and the Green Bay Packers.
The Chicago Bears come into this huge NFC North showdown with a 4-3 straight-up record, but a costly 1-5-1 record against the spread. Heading into last week’s bye they fell to Washington 45-41 as one-point favorites on the road. The total went well OVER the 47.5-point closing line in that game and it has now gone OVER in six of the Bears first seven games.
The Packers got off to a shaky start with two straight-up losses in their first three games, but a current three-game winning streak has them back on familiar ground atop the standings in the NFC North. Last Sunday they rolled over Cleveland 31-13 as 7.5-point home favorites after holding on to beat Baltimore 19-17 the week before as one-point favorites on the road. Overall, Green Bay is now 4-2 both SU and against the spread with the total staying UNDER in its last three game
Heavyweights that are expected to challenge for their division titles are going to meet in NFL betting action at M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday, as the Baltimore Ravens take on the Green Bay Packers.
The Bears and Packers are the biggest rivals in the NFC North, but the Lions and Packers certainly don’t have any love for each other either. Detroit is coming off a nice win over the Bears, while the Packers are coming off a bye week following a disappointing loss at Cincinnati. Green Bay really needs this game so they don’t fall too far behind in the NFC North.
Week 5 of the NFL season is here! With all of the games on the docket each and every week, we are going to be zeroing in on just one side or total that we think is the best of the bunch. Join us today, look at the game on Sunday, October 6th between the Detroit Lions and the Green Bay Packers.
The Green Bay Packers started the season with a tough loss in San Francisco, but they bounced back with a big win over the Redskins at home last week. The Bengals lost a very tough game in Chicago in week one, but they picked up a big Monday Night Football win over the Pittsburgh Steelers last week. This might be the best matchup on the board in week three of NFL action. Which team will move to 2-1?
The Redskins are coming off a short week and a long Monday night against Philadelphia in which they lost their season opener 33-27 as three-point favorites at home. This game got out of hand early as Washington had no answer for Chip Kelly’s high octane offense that ran 53 plays while scoring 26 points in the first half. The total went well OVER the 51.5-point line.
The last time Green Bay faced the 49ers things did not go so well in a 45-31 loss as a three-point road underdog in last season’s Divisional Round playoffs. This followed a 30-22 loss to the eventual NFC Champion in the 2012 season opener as a six-point favorite at home.
Most betting experts expect Seattle to push San Francisco all the way to Week 17 of the regular season for the NFC West Division title this season and quite a few have this team going all the way to the Super Bowl. If the Seahawks’ first two preseason games are any indication of how they will play in the regular season, I would have to agree that this team is a pretty good bet to go all the way this year.
