The Rangers and Astros wrap up their Interleague battle of Texas on Thursday in Houston with Kevin Millwood taking on Wandy Rodriguez. The Rangers will be hoping to get their two sluggers back in the starting lineup on Thursday. Both Josh Hamilton and Milton Bradley were not in the lineup on Wednesday.
The Houston Astros and St. Louis Cardinals play the middle game of their three-game set on Wednesday with Wandy Rodriguez facing Adam Wainwright. It will be the first start for Rodriguez since late April as he has been on the DL. He is 1-4 in his career against St. Louis with a 5.25 ERA.
The Philadelphia Phillies and Houston Astros open up a four game set on Thursday with Kyle Kendrick facing Roy Oswalt. Kendrick is 3-2 on the season with an ERA of 4.76 while Oswalt is 4-4 and has an ERA of 5.43.
