Week 10 of the 2013 NFL season is said and done with, and today, we are going to be looking at some of the best and most valuable odds to win the Super Bowl as we continue on with the campaign.
The Colts come off of their bye week with a chance to bury the defending AFC South champs while padding their two-game lead, so it is safe to call this a pivotal matchup in the division. Indianapolis has gone an impressive 5-2 in its first seven games including victories over Seattle, San Francisco and Denver as an underdog. It is 4-3 against the spread and the total has stayed UNDER in four of the seven games.
Before the season, the Houston Texans were considered a real Super Bowl contender. The Kansas City Chiefs were thought to be better than last year’s 2-14 disaster, but no one expected the team to be 6-0 coming into this game. Now, the Texans are in shambles and the Chiefs are one of the remaining unbeatens. Houston looked like they had given up last week. Can they put things back together, or will the Chiefs go to 7-0?
The pressure has been dialed-up on Houston heading into this showdown after back-to-back losses to Baltimore and Seattle. After getting hammered by the Ravens 30-9 as a one-point road underdog in Week 3, this past Sunday it fell to the Seahawks 23-20 in overtime as a one-point underdog at home. The Texans are 2-2 straight-up on the year, but they have failed to cover against the spread in all four games. The total has gone OVER in three of their four outings.
Seattle comes into this inter-conference matchup as arguable the best team in the NFC after a 3-0 start both straight-up and against the spread that includes an impressive 29-3 beatdown of San Francisco as a three-point home favorite in Week 2. Last week the Seahawks covered a ridiculous 19.5-point spread as home favorites in a 45-17 romp over Jacksonville. The total stayed UNDER in their first two games but it easily went OVER the 39-point line against the Jaguars.
LB Ray Lewis will be inducted into the Ring of Honor on Sunday in what should be an emotional NFL betting battle between the Houston Texans and the Baltimore Ravens.
Monday Night Football betting action finishes up this week from Qualcomm Stadium, where the Houston Texans are going to hope to get off on the right foot against the San Diego Chargers.
