They have covered in their last five games to improve to 27-24 against the spread.

In Miami’s 117-104 victory over Portland on Tuesday night as an 11-point home favorite, he scored more than 30 points while shooting at least 60 percent from the field for the sixth-straight game to set a new NBA record.

Overall, it is 20-21 against the spread including a costly 8-12 record ATS on the road. The total has gone OVER in five of its last seven games.
The road has not been kind to the Heat this season with an 8-9 straight-up record overall and a 1-3 record four games into their current six-game road trip. Monday night’s 104-97 loss to Utah as 2.5-point road favorites dropped Miami to 24-12 SU and 17-19 against the spread. The total went OVER the 198-point line in that game and it has now gone OVER in its last two games.
The Miami Heat will begin their second West Coast swing of the year in NBA betting action on Thursday night when they take on the Portland Trail Blazers at the Rose Garden.
