Detroit may have saved its season with last Sunday’s 26-23 dramatic come-from-behind overtime victory over Philadelphia as a 3.5-point road underdog, but it can get back in the thick of the NFC North race with a win on Monday night. The Lions are 2-3 straight-up on the year and 1-4 against the spread. The total has gone OVER in two of their last three games.

Despite the fourth-quarter heroics of quarterback Matthew Stafford, Detroit still has issues with consistently putting points on the board.

While it is a bit too early to crown the Texans AFC champs, they have certainly been the most complete team in the conference so far with a 4-0 start both straight-up and against the spread. The total has been split 2-2 in their first four games.

Houston’s offense, led by quarterback Matt Schaub, has rolled-up 31.5 points a game behind a passing attack that is averaging 233.8 yards a game to complement a running game that is adding another 136.5 yards on the ground.
